I find that the best ice coffee is made using the cold process coffee brewing like the "toddy" uses.

It really does make great ice coffee in my opinion.
I make it myself by just adding (in a pot) 15 DL cold water to 500 grams of roughly ground coffee beans, letting it steep for 12 hours! and then straining the liquid in to a container that goes in to the fridge for chilling.
When needed you add some (1 part) of this concentrate to a glass, add some (3 parts) amount of cold water and some ice cubes and voila, iced coffee that is easy on your stomach and delicious.
Hot water can also be added for a warm coffee...
