Hier eine Meinung aus coffeegeek.com:
A precise RTD is more expensive than a thermocouple in general.
One reason that does speak for RTD is that a thermocouple has two junctions: the measurement and the reference junction on the other end, which makes it more variable with environmental temperature changes. The RTD doesn't have that dependency, especially when using 3- or 4-wire configurations.
Thermocouples can be faster (especially with exposed junctions) than RTDs, but for the application at hand that doesn't matter much; both are able to achieve speeds in the seconds range.
For PID applications I do favor a high-quality RTD over thermocouples.
Wie gesagt, ich bin hinund her gerissen. So groß ist die Masse jetzt auch nicht, 5 mm aug 50 mm. Sobald es da ist mache ich eine Vergleichsmessung und berichte.
