Thema: "Neues" Carimali Uno E

Hi

I have recently purchased a unused Carimali Uno E (not the one Kaffeeperle sold). It has never been used so I guess I need to replace some rubber parts (gaskets, o-rings etc).

When I pull an espresso from the machine I get big bubbles in the crema. Guess the gaskets are not tight and let in air.

Can somebody recommend what parts I should replace to refresh the machine again?

Looking a the following picture I would replace part nr 4, 5 and 6.



Any other parts on the machine that should be refreshed?

Hi Jesper - just as a recommendation, you might want to post your question in an english-speaking forum (coffeegeek or homebarista), as they will be more easily able to answer your questions. I suppose that people here might not immediately get pulled towards questions in english

I can hardly imagine that your error description fits to problems with the rubber parts. Sounds more like some problems with your coffee. I certainly would change the holder gasket, but I don´t think that other gaskets should be defective only by being not used... but that is just some kind of idea

The machine works great. No problems at all.

Can somebody please explain how I can increase the brewing temperature? My espressos are a bit cold for me.

Do you have the long “Einspritzrohr” (XXL 703850NR) in the HX? espressoXXL - Espresso Maschinen Ersatzteilshop rund um die Uhr für Jedermann !! -

Otherwise, set the Pressostat switch higher e.g. 1.2 -1.4 bar

Tried to remove the "Einspritzrohr" but the screw is really stuck. Do not want to risk to damage the boiler. Any tips? Should I remove the boiler in this case?

Putting to much momentum on the screw would probably twist the boiler.

Das Einspritzrohr sitzt dort wo das Rohr vom Brühkopf in den Boiler geht. Die Schraube falls sie fest sitzt mit leichten Schlägen (Hammer) lösen. Die kurzzeitigen Schläge sind schonender als nur mit Kraft. Erwärmen kann auch helfen. Wenn die Schraube + Rohr ab ist bekommst du Einspritzrohr gut mit einem Schraubenzieher den du rein steckst und etwas hin und her bewegst los.
Den Boilerdruck hast du schon höher gestellt?
Mehr Wasser im Boiler erhöht die Brühtemperatur auch (ca. +2°C)

kein Problem, ich kann deutsch lesen, aber nicht so gut schreiben

My "Einspritzrohr" was 45 mm on both my Uno's. Just ordered the longer version.

Right now, the heating stops at 1.2 bar and starts again when it is below 1.0 bar. Will try to increase it to maybe 1.4 and 1.2. But will do that after my new Einspritzrohr is here.

Das ist gut. Englisch verstehen beim lesen ist bei mir nicht so das Problem aber schreiben.
Ja bau erst mal das lange Einspritzrohr ein. Wie sieht es denn mit der Düse aus hast du dann nicht auch die 1,2 mm Düse? Die 0,8 mm Düse wäre besser. Sie hat einen langsameren Druckaufbau.
Mit der 1,2 mm Düse hast du ohne Siebträger in 10 Sek. über 200 ml Durchlauf.
Bei der 0,8 nur ca. 130 ml
Ein Teil der Düse kannst du noch oben auf der Zeichnung sehen. Eventuell Nummer 11
