Thema: Quickmill 0835 Dampfer ist schwach

Hallo,
First, Excuse me for my bad german but ill try anyway.:
Ich habe diese Maschine nur für 3 Monaten und den Dampfer ist bereits zu schwach, (um Schaum). Irgendwelche Vorschläge, was getan werden kann?

The quickmill steamer is capable of perfect microfoam.But its power is weak when compared to boiler type espressomachines.
The knocking sound is perfectly normal and according to specs.
So be a little patient and you can make perfect latte art.

My problem is that it was much stronger at the beginning for sure (even after cleaning it the towel is not as hot..) i can even upload a video later.
Something happend for sure but i dunno what to check.

I have a gaggia classic and everytime i descaled the machine the steam has much more power, so try to descale the machine.

Since its not the same system , not sure how to do it?

This is how I used to do it in my 2820.
Fill the tank with a 1:3 solution of cleaning vinegar and water.
Let the water go through the brew head for maybe 10 seconds.Let is sit a few minutes and repeat.
Now turn the steamwand out and put a bowl under it.
Activate the COFFEE button so water goes through the steamwand.Let is sit fo a few minutes.Repeat but now while the water goes through the steamwand turn in,out,in out etc etc.

After the tank is empty fill with normal water and do the same procedure again until you don't taste any acid in the water anymore.

Succes.

Do not use vinegar. Take a chalk dissolver with citric acid because of the silicone hoses. ( The electrician from the repair shop told me some times ago )

Guess what?The repairman from the shop where I bought my quickmill actually advised me to use cleaning vinegar instead of citric acid.i've been doing it it for 12 years.Never any problems.

He said, that vinegar is not just a dissolver for chalk, it`s also a dissolver for silicone.
