    And how are we able to differentiate between "wild" and "bred"?

    I don't think Indonesian certificates are worth to be trust on.

    yes right, we dont have a trustfull certificates of the coffe.
    but wild civet only and only eat the mature coffee bean. and the bred one have to eat all bean given to them, so its going to make some difference of the flavor.

    Yes, you´re right! They are worth to be poured down the WC as corruption is endemic in Indonesia more than we may imagine!

    lol :D u right brother :) but that's not mean we can generalize all citizen. not only you are disgusted with their behavior, most of Indonesians do the same :/ i can hope only a beter for tommorow.

    except that each country is corrupt...This coffee from Indonesia to be very expensive and I've read on the internet this coffee tastes very delicious.
    Each country has its own conditions.
    We should accept that and do not condemn anything which makes us appear strange.

    i have never drink this coffee . dutch drink this coffee too...

    ich glaube über die tierhaltung kann man sich darüber streiten. aber es ist so zu vergleichen als würde man hühnerzucht betreiben.
    es dürfen niemals tiere leiden für die menschen ihre bedürfnisse.
    als ich das meine familie erzählt habe, war die ihre reaktion auch ungewohnt und wenig begeistert über die indonesische gewöhnungsbedürftigen vorlieben kaffee zu trinken :D
    ich selber trinke kaffee wie jeder andere in deutschland normalen kaffee von meiner kaffeepadmaschine ;) ich würde mal auf youtube die test drinker von kopi luwak - civet coffe suchen und dort mal die tester anhören. wie die es beurteilen . alles was befremdlich ist. ist auch nicht gleich was schlechtes bedeuten.
