G-Micron (DF64P)

Hallo zusammen,

Der belgische Kaffeehandel hat soeben die - G-Micron vorgestellt, den Verwandten der G-Iota.

Die Mühle ist etwas anders designed und konstruiert und soll nur für Espresso geeignet sein.

Ankunft Mitte bis Ende Juli, keine Vorbestellung, nur Lagerware.

Der Preis wird höher liegen.

The giota is a popular product and will continue to be made, the new version, the G-micron / DF64P, is simply premium version and will be made alongside the Giota. The Giota is a grinder that can be used for a range of coffees and methods, while the G-micron DF64P Premium is an espresso only grinder with less range in the grind size adjustment, which is designed to allow for more fine tuning of the grind size.

The G-micron has a colored coating vs the Giota which has a colored vinyl wrap. G-micron has standard wood accents, the giota does not. The G- micron is an espresso only grinder, the G-iota can work for a range of coffees and methods.
For grind size adjustment, the mechanism on the G-micron adjusts the bottom burr when grind size is adjusted, on the G-iota the top burr is adjusted. The G-micron will costs more to produce and therefore has a higher price point than the Giota.

The G-micron has a more compact design, with the length and width footprint. Without the bellows on the G-micron is very similar in height to the Giota.

Estimated arrival of the grinders will be second or third week of July. There will be no possibility for pre orders. As well also not possible for the arrival of the new G-iota versions in Black and White colours.
