    Hi all...new guy in town :)
    I have this machine for 13 years already. still not ready to let go :)
    Anyways, lately, the steam boiler stopped heating.
    I checked the boiler nodes...seems OK.
    I checked the thermostat for continuity...seems OK
    Then I checked the load resistor...looks broken...it has no resistance at all

    I guess I need to buy a new one. problem is, because it is so old, I cannot read the part number so I don't know what to look for.

    Also, I saw a picture, in another thread in this forum of someone with the same machine, but in his case, instead of what I have, it has this:

    would appreciate help with finding the correct part number for fixing this

    What do you mean by load resistor? The part you marked with the red circle in your first picture? If so: This is a resettable safety thermostat!
    If pushing the button in the middle doesn't work you'll need a new one.

    The part on the 2nd picture is a non resettable thermal-fuse.

    Gehäuse / Schalter & Taster

    It should be Part No. 11

    I realize now that it is the safety thermostat.
