    Hallo miteinander!

    Dieses Wochenende findet das Vienna Coffee Festival statt.
    Ich überlege hinzufahren, bin aber noch unschlüssig.
    Kennt jemand hier die Veranstaltung?

    Hy, I was there from 14 to 19:30. Many people from young to old, I did not expect to be so many from the opening hour.

    The place is filled with machines, alot of big names in coffee industry, I saw and touched , LM Leva, KWDW Slim Jim, Slayer, Compak pkr, Mazzer ZM, the latest espresso machines from Faema e71 and Cimbali and many many others.

    Coffee served in the grinders was normal full city-dark roast so it suits normal people. I didnt like that because why present pressure/flow profiling and serve a 30 sec normal shot, if you know what I mean. But lets be real, people want to drink normal coffee, not some light roast/3rd wave "baterry acid".

    I liked the event, there was the cupping contest aswell. Going back to coffee, you could find german/austrian roasters selling their coffee there. Those had light roasts if you want (die Rosterin, Suessmund and others). I think my standards in taste and lightness of the coffee are to high.

    At the even between speciallty coffee you could find comercial coffee like Dalymar, Julius Meinl, and you could even find typical italian blends like Passalacqua.

    Thx a lot for the great update!! Due the weather here is so great today (SUNSHINE!) I think I won’t visit (2h drive to Vienna). Maybe next year (or tomorrow)
